Limerick to Listowel 88km

Heads a bit woozy this morning but it was definitely worth it. Lots of good fun last night which I know will carry into today.
Its a beautiful morning. sunny but cold.
Ber drives us back to the start but not before taking us omn a tour of Limerick University grounds.
What a magnificent complex. World standard. How could you not come out of there without great qualifications.
The start is great with the schools all present to send us off again.
Legs are tired this morning . But our first stop is only 20 km away. There is a reason for that!
Rolling through the roads of Clare and heading for the Kingdom is a great trip.
Stopping in Foynes for a lie in the sun and an ice cream.
Into a headwind and a few climbs before we hit Tarbert for another stop for refreshments and a struggle into Listowel.

An epilogue is usually a finish. And whereas it might be a finish to this blog, its certainly not a finish to the message that IT OK NOT TO FEEL OK, AND ITS ABSOLUTELY OK TO ASK FOR HELP. Today as I settled back to what has been my reality. I can reflect on the last 10 days. What is real, and what is not. What is the real stuff and what is the reality of life as I know it. I seem to have spent a lot of my second half life coming off inspirational courses and seminars to know that when reality sets in after the euphoria, things return to normal. Whatever normal is. Cycle Against Suicide is probably the same. Ill drift back to normal life in time. But things can't be the same. I have met some wonderful people, stayed in amazing homes, looked after really well by strangers, as was. Met and re-met great people in the cycle. Killarney to Mallow 77km

We were picked up last night by Mike, our host. Mike had only a van so he took one of us and his neighbour Paddy took two more. On the way Mike said we would stop at  Supervalu to get supplies to cook dinner. We had a great dinner in a fine big farmhouse in front of a roaring stove with wine and good craic. Mike is a great character, has spent years in the States and cycled across America before coming home to Ireland. Such an inspirational man. Some of the guys were going out to the pub but we decided to stay in the homestay for the evening. That was a good decision. I need a quiet night. Woke this morning to another dull day. looks like rain might come . But, gotta get up and out. Nice bowl of porridge , some brown bread and jam and we are off back to the start with neighbour Pat.
